Founder Update: 25th August 2025

Hey everyone,

My name is Philip S. Camps, founder and developer of Dimenwave.

This isn’t just another startup project — it’s the culmination of years of curiosity, research, and development at the intersection of physics, computer science, and audio engineering. It all started with a simple but profound question my uncle and I explored: “How do we really hear sound?”

Concept

That question led me to create a breakthrough technology called the Time-Aligned Spatial System (TASS). In simple terms: I’ve discovered a clever way to generate a true surround-sound experience using just two speakers, without it being at the side of you. Unlike traditional virtual surround, which often relies on perceptual tricks, TASS is built on a deep understanding of the real-world physics of sound . No extra hardware, no gimmicks — just smart engineering.
The setup you have is what you need to get it done; 2 speakers or headphones and you’re golden.
The handful of industry professionals and audio enthusiasts who have experienced an early prototype have all had the same reaction: genuine amazement at the immersive depth and clarity possible from a simple stereo setup. It’s this “wow” factor that I want to ensure every single one of you experiences flawlessly.

Design

That is why, as the waiting list for DimenPlay grew into the thousands and interest from major industry partners became a reality, I made the decision that a simple launch wasn’t enough.
I’ve decided to take this extra time to do a comprehensive re-architecture of the core audio engine. This is a major undertaking to ensure that the final product is not just innovative, but rock-solid, scalable, and delivers the flawless experience that you, my early supporters, deserve. The architectural blueprints for this are already complete, and this final push will make Dimenwave truly production-ready.

For those who’ve asked how they can help accelerate the launch, I’ve opened support options via PayPal and other payment options. Every bit helps accelerate development, scale the infrastructure for launch, and bring this new audio experience to the world faster.

The full release will be on ios app store, android play store, macos, windows & linux. Future development will be forwarded to TVs, smart devices and so on.
